Living Space Theater wishes all the best for 2020 – let your dreams come true!
The year 2019 was very busy and very fruitful for us! Here is a brief summary of what we did in last year:

3 premieres: “Ferdydurke”, “Beds are burning”, “I’ll be right back”
21 performances played including: “Kaj dzias”, “Jesus Christ, Refugee!”, “Trembles” and “Shapes” in over a dozen Polish cities and abroad in China, USA or Bulgaria!
Participation in projects:
– The European Capital of Culture 2019 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria with “Kaj dzias”,
– Polish Dance Network 2019 – presenting “Kaj Dzias” in 5 Polish cities,
– Presenting “Trembles” and “Beds are burning” in China and taking part in the movie “Deaf people” directed by Fan Ya in Beijing,
– International Night of Museums at the Emigration Museum in Gdynia,
– ‘Black memory – mining memorials’ conference at the Regional Institute of Culture in Katowice,
– finalists of the Entrée Art Observatory at the Teatr Rozrywki in Chorzów.

Participation in festivals:
– 54. Small Theatre Forms Festival Counterpoint in Szczecin,
– Counterpoint Island in Świnoujście,
– Guangzhong Dance Festival,
– OFTeN National Festival of Independent Theatres in Ostrów Wielkopolski,
– Industriada Festival 2019,
– organization of the I Siódme Poty Teatru Festival in Kluczbork.

In addition, we conducted workshops:
– acting and dancing workshops in China at: Guohe Theater in Xi’an, Xiwushe dance studio in Chengdu, Guanyuan workshop studio in Dali, New Vision Ballet Studio in Zhuhai and during the Guangzhou Modern Dance Camp,
– integrative workshops with disabled people “Unisono” and beatbox-dance workshops “Extract the sound, free the movement” at the BWA Contemporary Art Gallery in Katowice,
– workshops before each presentations of “Kaj dzias” (16 days of workshops this year!),
– second edition of the “Platea” workshop for young people in Zabrze.
